Limoblaze’s “OKAY” a hit song? Will it Gain the acceptance it requires?

In a build up to his forthcoming album, Limoblaze teams up with the exceptionally gifted Ada Ehi Moses [Ada mama] on a new afro sound ‘Okay’.

Prior to the release the buzz and suspense was top notch. The anticipation started off with just a pictorial post of both artiste on their social media handle. Hands and fingers crossed as expectation was high.

A date was set and fans would rather it drops immediately. Why was the anticipation so high? Ada Ehi is gone Afro?

Could it be that the fans have been expecting a collaboration of this nature?

On Okay, Limo’s signature sound was very prominent. Right from the on set, Ada Ehi set the tone for what is to come with her very own signature ‘Ada Mama don come oh’ the sound will keep you nodding your head while moving one step at a time to general body movement.

What Do We think about ‘Okay’
Nothing really off the hook, yet an exceptional sound that will reverb amongst the younger folks. The general message is about the love of God.

If you familiar with Limoblaze you definitely know this is his pure sound and how he enjoys his delivery.

Limo expressed his love and continued on hailing God [Bami] who is a father. The hook of the song is definitely the icing on the cake. Ada’s verse is okay like Okay but we have to just enjoy the vibe.

Will ‘Okay’ remain fans favourite? For How long?
As exceptional as the sound is although currently gaining massive online attention particularly within urban gospel loving fans, there is a serious short fall on radio airplays. This is mostly due to zero budgeting and terrestrial promotional plans. The song needs to infiltrate all platforms to remain a fav for a longer time. The audio backed up with amazing visual needs to get on major TVs we hope it happens in the coming days. Are we going to see the sound rake in numbers on youtube and digital stores?

Stream & Buy

We need to also mention that Ada has been very helpful with providing Limo with all the support needed as a featured act which is relatively lacking as far as gospel music in Nigeria is concerned. Ada has upped the game and stood as a supportive pillar to the young artiste.
