Olorun Agbaye” (You Are Mighty), the highly anticipated new single from Nathaniel Bassey is finally out and available now on all digital outlets. The renowned Nigerian worship leader Nathaniel bassey features American gospel sensation Chandler Moore of Maverick City Music and Nigerian gospel singer Oba for this mind-blowing song.
The worship ballad which was released on the 30th of October was set for release earlier in the month of October but postponed because of the Nationwide unrest in Nigeria. In the words of Nathaniel Bassey on a post he released on Instagram on the 26th of October, 2020, He says:
Contrary to my initial promise earlier in the month, a few days back, I thought of postponing the release of this song, OLORUN AGBAYE – YOU ARE MIGHTY. Feeling the mood wasn’t right due to lots of happenings lately, But again, I thought shouldn’t this even be the best time to release it? Shouldn’t I release Hope, Faith and Love at a time we need them the most? The children of Israel asked why they should sing the Lord’s song in a strange land. Well, I’ve decided that we would release sounds of heaven to a dark world groaning for the manifestation of The Sons of God.
So come FRIDAY, 30th October 2020, at 6pm NIGERIAN TIME, We’ll be releasing this one. So subscribe to our YouTube channel. And look out for it on the other online music platforms.
I pray it releases such grace and glory into an atmosphere already laden with fear and anxiety in Jesus’ name.
Thanks @chandlerdmoore and @obamusic1 for getting on this with me.
“Olorun Agbaye” is an articulation in the Yoruba language that reflects God’s mightiness and ability. The worship ballad finds Chandler Moore impressively singing in the popular Nigerian “Yoruba” language leaving a sound that causes a spiritual sensation when you listen and Oba delivering a power eulogy.

Nathaniel Bassey
Nathaniel never disappoints when it comes to delivery. His verse was awesome as always accompanying the second verse with his melodious horns creating a perfect blend with the already perfect musical arrangement. His tongues towards the end makes you stirred in the spirit, no wonded he warned everyone about the song on Instagram.
In his words ’Warning ⚠️ Don’t listen to this while driving! ? Especially when the song goes towards the end.
Might make you high in the spirit ’ OBA
The female vocal powerhouse dominated the song with her vocal strength and indigenous yoruba chant that exalts God. The chant is followed by a melodious yoruba sound that makes your feet move. She made a huge impact on the song.
Chandler Moore
As always, Chandler a passionate worshipper delivered on the song. however, Chandler’s impact on the song is surprising because he sang in a native Nigeria dialect (yoruba) fluently. It was so smooth you would probably mistake him for OLUWAChandler SEYIMoore (the new and adopted Chandler Moore).
All vocalist were exceptional, nonetheless, this review would not be complete without giving accolades to the producer and creative director of the song. First off, the lead guitar solo after the first verse (Chandlers verse) and the trumpet solo after the second verse were spiritual as they hit different. The song was produced and well arranged to perfection.
Since the release of the song people have had a lot to say about it, here are some comments about the blazing single;
@iam_mimshack on twitter says; ’ If only believers knew the in-depth meaning of that line by @nathanielblow “By the blood you shed we have overcome; discharged and acquitted for life”….a lot of error messages, and teachings would be eradicated.
Thank you Sir, @chandlerdmoore and Oba.
#OlorunAgbaye’
