I am a medical doctor and an epidemiologist – I look into health events and diseases among populations and I respond to them. Over the past 7 years, I have responded to outbreaks of Ebola, Lassa Fever, Monkeypox and COVID-19. However, for the first time in my life, I got infected with the disease I was responding to: I tested positive for COVID-19 in July this year.

This hit me differently. I was away from my home country, responding to the pandemic, far away from my family which I hadn’t seen for over six months, and I had COVID-19. While all of these were playing in my mind, the Lord Jesus gave me this song – BE STILL. This is my testimony, and I hope that as you listen to it, you will be encouraged.
