Golibe, a fast rising gospel music minister, who has songs like “Chukwuebuba” and “Redeemer” to his credit, drops a love song to God he titles “Affection” featuring vocal power house minister Jennie. Golibe recounts how the inspiration of this song came – “It was a hot afternoon and I was cooking for Mama Jennifer Nlem (yes cooking, am also a chef and an event planner) it was either for jubilant choir party or a thank you party for the workers at the just concluded praise and worship service hosted by Jennie when I heard that voice say to me ‘I love you even if you don’t serve me, I will always be here for you even if you don’t acknowledge me because I love you son’. Just like a flash the lyrics of AFFECTION chrous dropped and I started singing to the tune I was hearing in my heart. Fast forward, later in the day, I shared the view with Jennie and John Benard Odiba. Benard imediately took to the piano and we got a demo for the song while Jennie quickly developed it into verses.
