Banky W, Toluwanimee, Prinx Emmanuel on New Music Monday

It’s another Monday and it’s time for a renewal of your playlist. This year is slowly coming to an end and, one thing for sure is we have prevailed (in Greatman Takit’s). It has been a rollercoaster of events this year and as we slowly draw the curtain of the year 2021,it is important that we pay attention to God’s goodness and give gratitude. Well on Mondays, we on are particular about new and good music, so here are a couple of sounds to help you reminisce in gratitude for how far you have come:

1. Ovie Onini & Purebreed – Yahweh is Beautiful
‘Yahweh is Beautiful’ is the first word you hear at the beginning of the sixth track of a thirteen track album title “The Outcry” by the Ovie Onini & Purebreed.  Born and raised in the heart of Warri, Delta State, Nigeria Ovie Onini recognized and accepted the call of God early upon Him and dedicated himself to it.
He is the lead pastor at The Glory Dawn Christian Center In Warri, with a vision to raise people who will Unleash the Light of Christ and His Kingdom at all cost, at all times, and in all spheres of influence.
The song edifies the person of God, showering Him with encomium’s for the amazing things He does. The Bass guitar on this song stands out in this song, it was as beautiful as the song and, the dynamic style of the time signature (3/4) by the drummer was impressive. To summarize this track, picture the song “Eh eh eh eh My God is Good o” on a 3/4 time signature and with beautifully decorated verses. This song would be a great fit to your gratitude playlist.

2. Prinx Emmanuel – Who Goes That Man
The amazing Afro Gospel music act and rapper, Prinx Emmanuel has a new song called “Who Goes That Man“. This comes after his previous single “Amarachi” was released some weeks ago. A video of Prinx Emmanuel performing a campus event organized by Salvation Ministries popped up on social media and went viral because of the amapiano sound. The buzz around the song prompted its early release.
Prinx is not limited as he explores the raving Amapiano sound and the song is a statement of fact that “if God be for us, who can be against us?”. The Port-Harcourt slang is a special kind of spice to the song.
