ONE MAJOR PRINCIPLE THAT I LEARNT FROM OUR FATHERS OF FAITH   APOSTLE JOSHUA SELMAN.

One major principle that I learnt from our fathers of faith that has deeply helped me in life and in ministry is the life of consistent gratitude. For many of you, please take away your eyes from all this complaining and grumpiness, as a man of God, God gave you one thousand members and you are not grateful, you have one million naria and you are saying to God , God what is hundred million that you cannot give me, that is ungratefulness and if you continue to live in that realm, you will fail.

When we were growing up, we used to sing a song that says, some have food but cannot eat, some can eat but have no food, we have food and we can eat, glory be to God. These are good values but now, our children now says plus God minus Satan, that’s a very undisciplined way of saying thank you over a meal.

When last did you take your eyes away from what God has not done and focus more on what God has done for you, so avoid unhealthy complaining and grumpiness, try to be appreciative.

Everything multiplies when you become thoughtful and thankful.

A man of God called me one day and told me about the church he went to minister and how they compensated him, so I counselled him and told him that I have never preached because of money, even when I started ministry I never knew that men of God gets compensated when they preach, so as a man of God don’t preach because of money and if you are being compensated with anything, accept it and be grateful.

Learn to be grateful for the little you have and cultivate the life of consistent gratitude because it will really help you.
