Dr. TJ Gaining Grounds in the Gospel Music Industry with Sounds of Victory

Dr. TJ a practicing Medical Doctor who is also a gifted singer and songwriter is gaining massive grounds in the music industry. After his grand entrance in the gospel music industry with songs like Testimony, Let it Rise, Baba and You Found me, Baba etc.

Dr, TJ has remained consistent in giving us smash hit and he fuels this with his debut album ‘Sounds of Victory’ that was released on the 12th of February, 2021.

The album contains 15 songs and was produced by Joewyte, mixed and mastered by Frost Magnetic, Sokaymix and Musicmagnate. The album features artistes in the Nigerian gospel scene like Neon Adejo, IBK, Fortune Ebel, Moses Bliss, Paul Praize, Victoria Israel, Teslim Dee, Faith Brodrick, Philadelphia Kes and Abovo.

According to Dr. TJ the song is anchored on Psalm 118:15, ‘Listen to the glad shouts of victory in the tents of God’s people, the Lord’s mighty power has done it’

The brilliantly arranged instruments throughout the song from the piano to the drums,leads and bass not forgetting the horns is one very important feature of the song that stands out. With Simple yet reassuring lyrics, Dr TJ tells attributes of a winner in Christ.

Afrobeats is gaining large grounds in the Nigerian Gospel Industry and Dr. TJ is not one to be left out of this movement. Testimony is a soothing song that get you to put on your dancing shoes everytime you listen.

Mighty God ft. Paul Praize
A song of gratitude to God. the calm and mid-tempo nature of the song makes it melodious. Paul Praize was a perfect fit for this song, he expresses himself on this displaying his vocal dexterity, its not everyday you get to see such feature on a song.

You Found Me
Its no surprise ‘You Found Me’ made it to the album. From lyrics down to production the song was tailored made to perfection. little or no wonder it has a massive airplay across Nigeria and outside before the album was released. Dr. TJ mixes the Contemporary Nigeria Sound (Ariaria) with modern day arrangements to dish out a proper praise song which he dedicates to Uhrobos, Isokos, Niger Delta and Nigeria at large. The song titled Abo which means clap features Abovo.

Incredible ft. IBK
Its no news that IBK is one of Nigeria’s finest gospel singer, featuring her on this song adds a feel that gives goossebumps while listening. Dr. Tj once again makes a smash hit with well tailored lyrics and proper musical arrangements of cause featuring one of the vocal queens in Nigeria’s gospel industry.

You Can
You Can is a song of affirmation on the supremacy of God. This song is simple yet so powerful. Dr. TJ deserves accolades for such soothing yet affirming sound about God’s all encompassing abilities.

Miracle ft. Fortune Ebel
‘We overcame by the blood of the lamb and by the words of our testimony (Rev 12:11), we are the head never the tail, above never beneath (Deuteronomy 28:13), we are more than conquerors (Romans 8:37). This verses of scripture read out by Dr. TJ already summarizes the song, however, Fortune Ebel’s impact on this song is huge. Dr.TJ and Fortune Ebel sure are a great pair as their combo on this song makes it a sweet Rock song.

Get your dancing shoes ready as this song will cause you to dance. Apart from the arrangements, the feel of EDM (Electronic Dance Music) mixed with traditional Nigeria dance music makes it extra melodious.

Yahweh ft. Faith Brodrick
Praising God and Rock music never felt better. Faith Brodrick did excellently on this song. As Usual the arrangement of the song was tailored made to perfection and the EDM feel in the chorus makes the song really amazing.

Done Me Well (Reprise) ft. Teslim Dee & Victoria Israel

This is another version of Done ME Well, unlike the first that features Neon Adejo this one featurs Teslim Dee and Victoria Israel. This version also has a faster tempo than the first. The two featured musicians did nothing short of amazing on their amazings while displaying their vocal dexterity.

This is the last song on the album. Dr. TJ brings in the Carribean sound on this song and of course it was a perfect fit for a song about the attributes and posture of a winner in Christ.

In conclusion, this album was a bespoke album if it was tailored. With carefully selected features and lyrics, the album is one you would want to listen to over and over again.
